Ski Portillo
All SkiWeeks includes:
- Seven nights lodging
- Seven days unlimited ski lift access (8 days if guest returns room by 10am on the 8th day)
- Four meals per day (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner)
- Complementary use of pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, gymnasium, aerobics and yoga classes, cinema, game room, children's activities, daycare center (3 to 7 years old), disco, piano bar, ski check, boot check and timed racecourses.
- Day care for children ages 3 to 7 is at no cost to parents. Daycare for children ages 0-2 is an additional cost.

Tap water in Portillo is not only potable, it is delicious and pure.
Portillo's rooms do not have television; however television may be seen at certain hours in the cinema or the disco. This is intended to encourage guests to enjoy the many services, entertainment and activities available, and to get to know the other guests.
Portillo asks that all guests wear nice clothing and shoes to the dining room for the evening meal. Ski clothes are fine at breakfast and lunch. Guests who enjoy getting dressed more elegantly for dinner are welcomed and encouraged to do so.
Portillo (and all of Chile) uses 220-volt electricity, so guests might need to bring transformers.
Internet access is available for an additional charge through wireless service in the rooms or our Portillo Cyber café.

Additional: Portillo Hotel's grand leather-and-wood dining room is open for breakfast from 8am to 10am, lunch from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, high tea from 5pm to 6pm, and dinner from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. Dinner is served in two seatings. Our maitre d', Juan, assists with choosing a table for the week, so that guests feel at home as they make friends with their waiters. Dress for dinner is nice but casual; while clean jeans are fine, Portillo guests often enjoy dressing fashionably. South Americans take pride in their appearance and consider practices such as wearing a baseball cap to the dining room to be bad manners.

The Portillo Bar
Portillo's Bar is one of the hotel's great attractions due to its cozy interiors and the fun to be had there. Guests enjoy sitting next to the fireplace or perhaps right at the bar itself. We serve a bar menu of sandwiches and appetizers during the afternoon, and fondues are available during the evening. Live bands play in the bar every night. The Bar may also be hired for private parties. Chilean Pisco Sours are often the drink of choice.

Discotheque
Portillo Hotel disco features a bar, lounge and dance floor. The disco starts around midnight and stays open until the last guest leaves. Some nights the disco simply ignites!
Cinema / TV Room
We show a different film each day in the cinema. In the afternoons the cinema is used to show videos of our guests skiing or snowboarding during their classes or racing in the weekly Sol de Portillo race; members of the Ski School are present to provide commentary about ski technique. TV is also available here during certain hours. Ski School Director Mike Rogan uses the cinemas for Ski Talks.
Classical Music Videos in the Disco
Every afternoon we play classical music videos in the disco. Our exceptional sound system allows guests to enjoy a quiet getaway as they watch an opera, the Three Tenors, or other classical musical performances. The disco also shows TV during the afternoon.
Fitness Facilities : Weight Room, Aerobics/Yoga Salon , Multi-court Gymnasium
Exercise facilities exceed expectations. We have a large gymnasium for football (soccer), basketball or volleyball, and each week there are some organized sports tournaments. We also have a weight room with treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers and Universal equipment. We have a separate studio room for yoga, aerobics classes, stretching and tae bo.
Cybercafé and Library
Compaq computers, a scanner, color printers and internet connections are available to guests. As well, we offer a collection of books in a variety of languages.
Beauty Center, Spa Facilities and Swimming Pool
Portillo's Beauty Center offers haircuts, styling, manicures, depilation and make-up application. Guests' spa experience is complete with our sauna, massage facilities and an outdoor heated swimming pool |
