Day 1: Our Andescross guide will be waiting for you at Bariloche International Airport.
This day we will enjoy a nice short drive around the area and we will prepare our gear for the next day. Night in Hotel

Catedral Ski Resort***
Day 2: Early in the morning we will head to Cerro Catedral, which is the most well known ski resort in South America. Just 20 km from Bariloche ski town.
Since 2004 all the mountain belongs to just one company, which will allow us to enjoy the whole mountain getting to the hidden places of the area. Enjoying where nobody goes and where the best snow is.

Day 3: One more day in this great ski resort. We will enjoy some of the places that we could not did in the first day.
We have been riding this mountain for more than 10 years and every day , every spot is different!!

Cerro Bayo**
Day 4: Early in the morning we drive to Villa La Angostura, which is a cozy little town in the middle of the mountains just in front of Bariloche, in the opposite shore of the magic Nahuel Huapi lake. Takes an hour from Bariloche to get to Cerro Bayo.
We head straight to the ski resort to donīt miss a second of great snow. Our Andescross staff will take care of your luggage taking it to your hotel, you will worry about your turns!
Enjoy all day in this beautiful mountain skiing in nice Lengas Forest (typical Nothofagus tree from Patagonia and New Zeland).

Antillanca- Volcan Casablanca**
Day 5: Drive to Antillanca Ski Resort. This ski resort is 2hs drive from Villa La Angostura and belongs to Puyehue National Park in Chile. After doing customs we will drive to this small Ski Village.
Once there the access to the backcountry is very easy and nice, we have the views of Volcan Puyehue, Puntiagudo, Casablanca and Osorno if we climb to the top of it.
Driving 18km this place offer hot springs and probably we would like to enjoy it after a hard day of skiing.

Chile to San Martin de los Andes***
Day 6: Drive to Argentina. This day will be mostly on the road, we will do the Seven Lakes circuit to get to San Martin de los Andes. This drives is great and relaxing after four days of skiing, we will see lakes and mountains during the whole drive.
Nice dinner in San Martin de los Andes.

Chapelco Ski Resort***
Day 7: Last day of skiing will be in Chapelco Ski Resort. This is the ski resort of San Martin de los Andes.
Offer nice slopes for intermediate and advanced skieers, mixing forest and clean slopes.
Nice view of Lago Lacar.
This will be our last day together, so after our this ski day we will meet for a great Andescross dinner.

After a great experience in the Andes ,flight back home to say hello to friends and family
Day 8: This day is the day to say good bye after a great trip in the Andes.

The Mountain Guides who hold this certification (UIAGM-IFMGA-IVBV) have passed exams, tests and a big dedication to mountain sports in all their aspects : Rock and ice climbing, mixed and alpine climbing, glacier travel and rescue, ski mountaineering, off and on piste skiing, radio transmission, topography, avalanche training, first aid medicine
exist around 6000 Mountain Guides certified by this Association.
With plenty of experience in the mountains of the Andes and more in the Patagonia area.
We have been working in the area since 1995. We focus in ski touring and also offer regular ski tours for regular skiers. |
