Skiing Tricks - Lincoln Loop

Named after Eddie Lincoln, the 70s Hot Dogging Pioneer, the Lincoln Loop is doing a cartwheel or sideways roll in the air. Make sure that you are already comfortable in doing jumps off a ramp before doing this trick.

	STEP 1: To start off, ski at moderate speed and approach the lip of the jump.
	STEP 2: Know which direction you want to turn. As you reach the lip, initiate the sideways roll by moving your head and shoulders towards the direction of the turn.
	STEP 3: Make the sideways roll as you get airborne. Keep your Skis parallel to each other.
	STEP 4: Spot your landing as you complete the rotation.
	STEP 5: Stomp the landing and ride away.

Doing Lincoln Loops is a good maneuver to prepare you for more advanced aerial tricks. Just keep in mind to take one step at a time. Get accustomed to doing basic tricks first before attempting more difficult ones.
