Skiing Tricks - Iron Cross

The Iron Cross involves crossing your Skis once you get airborne. It requires enough height from the ground so the Tips of the Skis will not get caught in the snow throughout the trick. In this section, learn how to perform an Iron Cross.

STEP 1: To start off, ski at moderate speed and approach the lip of the jump.

STEP 2: Prepare to cross your Skis as you reach the lip. You should have enough height from the ground to pull this trick off.

STEP 3: Cross your Skis once you get airborne.

STEP 4: Uncross and position your Skis parallel to each other.

STEP 5: Stomp at the landing and then ride away.

You should have proper timing and enough height from the ground in order to do this trick successfully. You can also do an Iron Cross with other aerial maneuvers such as the Back Flip.
