Skiing Tricks - Backscratcher

If you have already brushed up on your jumps and movements on air, then you may want to try the Backscratcher. In this trick, you will move your Skis behind you in a way that the tails are close to your back. Learn how to perform this trick in this section. You can use our animation as you go through our easy-to-follow steps.

	STEP 1: To start off, ski at moderate speed and approach the lip of the jump.
	STEP 2: As you reach the lip, bend your knees and keep your Ski Poles at the sides.
	STEP 3: Once you get airborne, bend your knees and lift up your Skis behind you. Move the tails close to your back. Lean backward to add style.
	STEP 4: Straighten your legs out and prepare for the landing.
	STEP 5: Stomp the landing, bend your knees to absorb the impact and then ride away.

Backscratcher is one of the numerous aerial tricks that you can do. Keep in mind, though, that it is important to get comfortable in doing jumps first before trying this trick.
