Adaptive Rocker means small amount of rocker to the tip of the ski, providing a ski tip that will not catch or hang up in crud and soft snow. The Adaptive Rocker allows for easy, forgiving turn initiation and predictable All-Mountain handling. The Panic's use of Step Down Sidewall L2 gives you the benefits of both cap and sidewall construction styles in this hybrid ski. Two layers of vertical sidewall underfoot extend towards the tip and tail but become a more forgiving cap as the ski reaches the ends of its length. This hybrid Step Down Sidewall design leaves the Panic with exception hold when it comes to groomed and hard packed, with a tip that wants to float over anything in it's way.
