High abrasion areas are reinforced with durable Schoeller Dynatec to ward off 'with wild abandon' edge cuts. An internal ankle gaiter keeps out the bottomless powder, and a 3/4-length outer thigh-to-cuff zip provides much needed venting when you overheat from the exertion of rapid laps. On the next tram up, a long slash zip utility hand pocket holds a convenient gog-wipe, while you reach in the strategic thigh pocket for some energy bar fortification. Leaning against the window, elasticized tabs cinch up the tricot lined belt-looped waist as you prepare to barge the door for first tracks down the newly opened backcountry.
