The 3-layer waterproof/breathable Conduit shell is packed with synthetic PrimaLoft insulation. If they can't keep your hands warm while belaying on an exposed ridge, or while camping north of the Arctic Circle, nothing can. The Absolute Zero Mitt has a removable PrimaLoft insulated insert with a Conduit shell. That means it'll be easier to dry your mittens at base camp, and you'll be able to ditch the big shells if things warm up. The gauntlets are large enough to fit over bulky sleeves, and they're designed for easy one-handed adjustment.
