One of the most important aspects of the Triple A's is the preservation of the environment. We have designed all current and future development of our facilities with an eye to our surroundings, ensuring nature is not hindered in running its intended course. Because of this, Ski and Skiing magazines presented Stowe with the presitgious Golden Eagle Award for environmental excellence.

| Cross-country Skiing | The Stowe Mountain Resort Cross Country Touring Center offers accessibility to the downhill ski area and an uncommon fusion of nordic and alpine skiing. With a pass to the Touring Center you can ride the Tollhouse Chairlift free and access trails closer to the top of the mountain. At this altitude snow drapes the pine boughts, and groomed trails are cut deeply into the powder.
From short, gradual climbs to challenging pitches, there is terrain here for nordic and telemark skiers of all abilities. Ask at the Center for a loop that suits you.
