Rentals: Fitting Specialists
Our goal is to help you have the best possible day on the slopes. In order to achieve that, we take a different approach when fitting your ski rentals.
Our Approach:
Every guest has their foot measured for size and width. Boots are selected based upon the reserved ski/snowboard package, as well as the size and shape of your foot. We place the boot on your foot, buckle it and then determine if that boot fits properly.
Your ski/snowboard is then selected based upon your needs and requirements. The bindings are adjusted and you are given a detailed explanation of how the boot and binding system operates. At this point you are ready to hit the slopes!

Whether it’s a group of 15 or 1,000, our facilities are able to meet and exceed your goals and expectations. We do more ski/snowboard groups in Winter Park than anyone else!
Our four ski shops are located throughout the Winter Park area enabling us to have a setting that meets your needs but is convenient for you and the members of your group.
How to Get a Group Rate Quote
Group rates are quoted by our Group Reservations Department, located at our Snow Mountain Sports store. Please call our toll free number for rate information. Prepay 45 days in advance and receive 10% off our already low rate!
Group Service with a Smile
There are several things that we do to make your ski and snowboard experience the best it can be for groups:
- All groups have prearranged rental fitting appointments. This enables us to staff appropriately for your group needs as well as focus on your group at that time.
- A short group orientation is provided just before the fitting. Our staff will explain the ski fitting process and provide detailed information about the Winter Park area (such as information on ski school, shuttle schedules and snow conditions.)
- Each group member is fitted in a one on one situation. Boots need to fit and skis/snowboards must be the right size.
- Equipment return or pick ups are a breeze. We use a master list for all groups. There is no need for your group members to have paperwork or have us fumble through a pile of forms or “high tech“ computer system.
- We also have the ability to pick up the equipment after your final day of skiing. Just let us know in advance so that we can schedule your pick up time.
- No charge for your group members to exchange equipment.

Skis & Ski Boots: We offer a variety of skis and boots perfect for the beginner skier or for the more advanced, extreme skier.
Snowboards & Snowboard Boots: First time rider or rocking the terrain park? Our boards are easy to turn yet hold a great edge! We also provide comfortable boots and easy to use bindings.
Ski Blades: Looking for an alternative to traditional skis? Want to rip it up in the terrain parks? Give the ski blades a try! Short skis for trick skiing, laying out the turns or just having a great time. They’re also great for the skilled skier that is skiing with beginner skiers. These are a blast!
Children’s Equipment: Gear for the first time bomber or ripping youngster! Buckle boots, easy to use bindings and performance at the same time! Don't forget kids 12 and under rent for free with a renting parent.
Clothing Rental: Don't be left out in the cold! We rent ski pants and ski jackets for men, women and kids. Forgot your gear, lost luggage or simply don't want to spend the $$ for high quality clothing? Then rent instead…we have what you need!
Rental Packages:
Demo Package: The best skis for a variety of skills. We have skis for the intermediate through seasoned expert. You don't need to be the best on the hill to appreciate the finest equipment for your skill level. Easy turning intermediate skis to full-on Mary Jane mogul pounding skis for the expert.
Performance Package: Our most popular ski package. Ideally suited for the first time skier through upper level intermediate. These skis are easy turning and give great control. We match this up with buckle boots designed for comfort and performance.
Shape Package: Great equipment at a great price! Easy to turn skis for the first time skier to the intermediate, with boots that compliment the skis as well as fit your feet!
Take the time; make your reservation in order to ensure that you do get the exact equipment that you need! Peak periods are the week prior to Christmas through the 1st week of January, Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, President’s Weekend and the month of March.
Individual and Family Reservations: we require a $5 plus tax deposit per person. This deposit is non-refundable. Individuals and Families who prepay their ski rental package 14 days prior to their rental pick-up date will receive 20% off of the total ski rental before tax. This does not apply to groups of 15 or more.
