Black Tie Ski Rentals announces new operating locations for their Steamboat and Big Sky services.

Steamboat Springs, Colorado – With the announcement of the opening of two more branches of Black Tie Ski Rentals, this makes Black Tie the largest delivery ski rental operation in the country. The Crested Butte and North Lake Tahoe will open for operation for the 05-06 ski season and both branches with be licensed branches of Black Tie Ski Rentals.

The Crested Butte branch is owned and operated by Roman Kolodziej, who has worked with Black Tie Ski Rentals of Steamboat Springs for the past two seasons before heading off on his own. “We couldn’t have found a more qualified person to start up a new branch of Black Tie Ski Rentals. Roman will be greatly missed at our Steamboat operation, but we knew that he was destined to go off on his own and we are happy that he is doing it in way that is still part of Black Tie.” says Ian Prichard, who is one of the owners in of the Steamboat and Aspen branch of Black Tie. This will be Crested Butte’s first delivery ski rental operation. “Crested Butte is a very exciting place to be right now with the new owners (Tim and Diane Mueller) bringing a lot of energy and growth back into this great ski town.” says Kolodziej. This Black Tie branch will be the first delivery ski rental service in the town of Crested Butte.

The North Lake Tahoe operation is owned and operated by Adam and Scott Kmitta along with Kyle Roybal. The three combined have over 20 years experience in the ski resort industry. “Normally we would be a bit nervous with one individual owner going into a market as big as Lake Tahoe, but with these three guys working as a team together we are very excited to help them take on this new challenge.” Stated Prichard. All three new owners have a wealth in the resort industry living in Steamboat until recently moving out to the North Lake Tahoe area. “The North Tahoe area has been extremely receptive to the Black Tie delivery ski rental service. We can not wait for the season to start.” Said Adam Kmitta.

Black Tie Ski Rentals is a delivery ski rental service that was started by Joe Sternberg and Ian Prichard in Steamboat Springs, CO in the winter of 2002-03. In addition to the branch in Steamboat they also own a branch in Aspen, CO adding to a licensed branch in Big Sky, MT that is owned and operated by Seth Turner. Along with Black Tie’s unique delivery approach they also pride themselves on only carrying the newest equipment as well as having a very professional staff. With all the branches you will always see one of the owners out doing rental fitting and taking that extra step to make sure the guest has all the right equipment for their ski or snowboard vacation.
