Alaska Rendezvous Lodge and Heli Ski Guides is an inclusive Lodge, Tavern and Guide service, located at mile post 45.6 on Richardson highway at a historic site that has hosted many activities in the development of the the Alaska Trail system and eventually highway system. This location is a natural cross road for travel into the interior and back to the port towns of Valdez.

The Alaska Rendezvous Guides maintain the premier location at the base of Mount Billy Mitchel. The descents on the Tiekle Valley average over 5000 ft and are true North in their orientation. This area is a powder paradise and offers the best skiing/snowboarding experience in Alaska. The average snow fall on Thompson Pass is over 700 inches a year with 1200 inches not uncommon. The Cold air of the Alaskan interior provides the refrigirator effect that dries out the coastal effect and creates snow features unrivaled any where else in the world. The Lodge site is on the confluence of three rivers Stewart, Tsiana and Tiekle and gives us quick access to the clearest skies in every direction to make our daily operational plans fast and decisive. The Guides love to ride and we have a tradition of safe mountain travel. When you think about Alaska think about the Rendezvous.
