Whistler Heli-Skiing
Our goal is to provide a truly memorable experience for our clients. The only heli-skiing company in Whistler Resort, Whistler Heli-Skiing has been providing the ultimate in personal customer service for over 26 years. Whistler Heli-Skiing is a licensed heli-ski operator with the Province of British Columbia and a member of the B.C. Heli-Skiing Operators Association. We have the highest standard of pilots and helicopters and an outstanding operations record. Our use of the Bell 407 & 212 and Astar helicopters give you the choice of small personal group or the ability for a larger group to ski together. Our professional heli-ski guides will lead the participant on the wilderness adventure of a lifetime.
Participants should be of intermediate or better skiing or snowboarding ability, and in good physical condition. Boarders are welcome. Ride with one of our professional guidies. To make the powder skiing/boarding experience more enjoyable, our Rossignol powder skis or Burton boards are highly recommended. Skis and snowboards are available from our rental shop.

All guides are fully trained professional mountain guides with certification within the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, Canadian Ski Guide Association, Canadian Avalanche Association and various First Aid Associations. Most guides have been working for Whistler Heli-Skiing for over ten years. We are celebrating our 26th anniversary of operation this year! |

Welcome to Whistler Heli-Skiing
Please read this information carefully. It will make your heli-skiing experience more enjoyable.
Arrival in Whistler Resort · Please check in to the Whistler Heli-Skiing store in the Crystal Lodge to confirm your arrival in Whistler. · You must check in before 4:00 pm the day before you fly and preferably as soon as you arrive in Whistler. · At that time you will be required to sign a release of liability waiver and provide us with important information so that you are grouped correctly. · All members of your party who are heli-skiing must be present to sign their waiver. · You may also arrange your rental powder skis or snowboard, if required, at this time. · We recommend that you confirm the weather forecast for your ski day with our staff at this time. You may change your ski date based on space availability. · You may cancel your reservation at any time up until 4:00 pm the day before you fly for a full refund. Cancellations received after this time you are subject to a $200 plus 7% GST cancellation fee.
Morning schedule/Meeting times:
· 8:15 am: Bell 407 guests requiring rental, to check-in at the Crystal store. · 8:30 am: Bell 407 guests, regular check in time at the Crystal store. · 8:30 am: Bell 212 guests requiring rental, to check-in at the Crystal store. · 8:45 am: Bell 212 guests, regular check in time at the Crystal store.
· If your heli ski day is cancelled due to weather or snow conditions, you will be telephoned between 7:30 am and 8:15 am. If you do not have a phone call by 8:15 am, please report to the Heli Ski store at 8:30 or 8:45 as required. · After reporting to the store you will be directed to the Powder Hut (one-minute walk). At approximately 9:00 am at the Powder Hut your guide will introduce himself and assemble your group, for a heli ski introduction. We have guides that speak English, Japanese, German, and French. If you need assistance in those languages, please ask. · At approximately 9:30 am you will leave the Powder Hut with your guide for the Whistler Heli -Port. At the heli-port you will receive additional instruction about the helicopters. The first group will fly at approximately 10:15 am.
What to wear: · Please dress the same way you would for skiing on WhistlerBlackcomb. · Goggles are a must. · Sunglasses with retention straps are acceptable in the spring only. · Sunscreen is mandatory in the spring. · Please bring a wool or fleece hat. · Ball caps are not recommended. · Experts wishing to bring a shovel pack may do so if it is small and approved by the guide in the morning. · If you bring a backpack it should be small, as you will be expected to ski with it the entire day. Nothing may be left in the helicopter.
Equipment: · We recommend Rossignol powder skis or Burton snowboards for your enjoyment. · Please complete rentals between 4:00 and 7:30 pm the evening before you ski at the Whistler Heli-Skiing Powder Hut, just one minute walk from the Crystal store. · Hard and soft bindings are available on our Burton snowboards. · Our ski technicians will assist you in selecting the correct powder ski for the current snow conditions and your skiing ability. · Please bring your own ski poles, and ski or snowboard boots.
Ski Day: · The guide will choose the best ski area for the day. He will take into consideration the wind, temperature, and new snowfalls prior to making his decision. · You will ski with your guide all day. · Mountain lunch is provided on the hill. · The Whistler Heli-Skiing professional photography staff captures one of your runs on video and still pictures. Videos, DVD’s and photographs are available in the Bell 212 packages only. · Smokers please bring a container to contain ashes and cigarette butts. · No smoking is permitted near the helicopter.
Apres Party: · The heli ski day ends at Buffalo Bills in the Timberline Hotel for the video party. We arrive back between 2:30 and 5:00 (depending on weather and number of runs). · The video party starts 30 minutes after the first group arrives. The video plays at least twice for everyone’s enjoyment. Invite your friends to join you there. Whistler Heli-Skiing regrets that, under B.C. Law, children under 19 are not permitted in this licensed establishment. Arrangements can be made for children under19 to view the video at their hotel. · All Photo/Video orders, as well as payment for extra vertical are processed here.
Refund policy: · If we do not fly, you will receive a full refund. · If you cancel after 4:00 pm the evening before you fly, or on the morning of your intended flight, you will be charged $200 plus 7% GST cancellation fee. · If we are forced to return to Whistler without completing your reserved package the refund policy is as follows:

On Mountain deli style lunch included in cost as well as use of avalanche transcievers. The 3 Run Classic Day and the 4 Run Elite Day (in the Bell 212) include video/photo service. At the end of the day people can view the video and photosat our apres party and choose to purchase the video/photos separately.
