Purcell Helicopter Skiing Ltd.
Purcell Heli-Skiing has been offering its guests the ultimate powder skiing experience for over 30 years. We offer daily heli-skiing/boarding as well as multi-day packages. We are dedicated to providing our guests with the highest quality of service.
Rather than encouraging vertical records, our aim is to offer a thrilling but comfortable heli skiing/boarding adventure at a relaxed pace. Throughout the operation, you will find a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff to look after you. Our entire team has a passion for the mountains and we enjoy what we are doing. YOU SHOULD BE HERE!
Our Heli-ski area lies a few minutes flight away from our heli-plex in the town of Golden, and covers 2000 square km in the Purcell Mountains. We have close to 200 runs offering every conceivable type of terrain and exposure. Skiing and boarding takes place on alpine glaciers and open slopes, as well as in the trees and gladed areas of the subalpine forest.
Spectacular scenery, pristine "champagne" powder, and diversified terrain.... we strive to meet our guests' needs and to provide the most exclusive, safest heli-skiing/boarding experience possible.
The helicopter flies directly from our heli-pad, located only a few short steps from the day lodge. After a full day of heli-skiing come in and relax around our beautifully crafted fireplace in our spacious seating area. Take in the spectacular views of the Purcell Mountains while enjoying a cup of tea, a cold beverage, and a bite to eat from the complimentary apres ski platter. Both the guides and guests gather at the end of the day recounting the day's events, sharing stories, and viewing pictures.
