Icefall Lodge
This is a new lodge, completed in the fall of 2005. It lies in a remote wilderness area, and borders on Banff National Park. This area of British Columbia is seldom visited and is a truly wild, spectacular area. The area is surrounded with waterfalls, tumbling glaciers and rugged peaks.
Summer access to the lodge is either by hiking or in helicopter. You can decide the length of your stay and decide wether you need a guide or not. The wildflowers and small rushing steams and waterfalls make this a beautiful hiking destination. Summer activities also include rock climbing, mountaineering and climbing courses.
The lodge currently sleeps 8 people, but will be expanded in the summer of 2006. This is a place to go to experience nature and wilderness. What the lodge lacks in amenities, it more than makes up for with scenery and atmospere. Plan a trip with friends to enjoy this unique area.
