Elite Skiers to Congregate at US XC Championships |

A total of 450 world class skiers are expected to showcase their skiing skills at the 2008 US Cross Country Championships which will commence on Jan. 1 at the Michigan Tech.
According to Pete Vordenberg, US Cross Country Head Coach, they expect to have another huge field. Vordenberg also said that excitement will no doubt flare up as there’s more at stake in the competition.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort Now Open |

The Revelstoke Mountain Resort at British Columbia, Canada finally opened to skiers last Saturday, December 22. It was initiated with a ribbon cutting ceremony spearheaded by Revelstoke Mayor Mark Mckee.
Nearly 2,000 skiers and snowboarders alike were welcomed with five feet high snow, lift-serviced terrain that reaches up to 4,735 feet, and nearly 1,500 acres of skiing terrain.
