Snow, Showings and Sale Signal Start of Ski Season
TUESDAY, 25 SEPTEMBER 2007
The ski season at Utah state is approaching as signaled by visible snow, fall showings, and equipment sales.
Bob Bonar, president of Snowboard Ski and Summer Resort, observes that "people start daydreaming about face shots and Tram rides." "Though we have a few projects to wrap up before the ski season begins, it's great to see so many smiling faces around the resort."
Events also fill the autum calendar. These include a public meeting at the Utah Avalanche Center focusing on the forecasting service. Also, there will be construction of new lifts. Two lifts will be built to link Brian Head's two mountains, and high speed quad lifts at Brighton and Deer Valley, and a triple chair at Wolf Mountain.
