Skiing Rivals to Train Together in NZ Next Month

The website www.stuff.co.nz has reported on Austria and Norway's agreement to have their speed training together on Mount Hutt in New Zealand next month. The announcement will come as a surprise to many since both countries are well-known rivals in the world of alpine skiing.
The Austrian team will include Benjamin Raich who won two gold medals in this year's Winter Games in Torino. He will be joined by four-time World Cup champion Hermann Maier along with their other teammates. Meanwhile, the Norwegian team includes Kjetil Andre Aamodt who has 20 Olympic and World Cup medals under his belt.
