Families are sure to enjoy this fun race. On March 4, Mad River Glen in Waitsfield, Vermont will hold its 63rd Annual Mad River Glen Family Tournament. The founder of Mad River began the former “The Father/Son Race” in Stowe in 1947, which eventually evolved into the family tournament.
Categories in the tournament now include: Mother/Daughter, Mother/Father, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter, Grandmother/Grandson, Grandmother/Granddaughter, Grandfather/Grandson, Brother/Sister, Brother/Brother, Sister/Sister and the overall Family Winner.
