STEP 1: Position yourself in such a way that it will be easy for you to get up. Put your Skis parallel to each other and across the Fall line. Bend your legs so it will be easier to lift yourself. With one hand on the handles and your other hand above the baskets, put your Ski Poles in front of your body and plant the tips uphill. |

STEP 2: Using your Ski Poles for support, slightly lean forward and push yourself upward with your hand near the baskets. |

STEP 3: Move your lower hand near the handles for more support as you push yourself upright. |

STEP 4: You have now completed the systematic way of standing up after a fall. Take note that due to gravity, it will be easier to get up on a steep slope than if you are on a flat area. |

Very Helpful!!!! Just came back from my first time skiing and had to be picked up every time I fell!!! Can''t wait to get back out and try this technique.
