Where I am in Andorra we've got less than a fortnight till closing day and it's been snowing hard all week. We've got more snow now than we've had all winter and there are about three tourists left in town - apparently all the Spanish are at the beach and the English/Irish are all convinced there's no snow so stay at home.
I'm just wondering what late season conditions are like elsewhere in the Northern hemisphere. Is everyone else enjoying a spring dump or have you got sunshine and spring conditions. I was looking forward to skiing some spring corn and we get powder instead - no complaints obviously.

In my town there is absolutely no snow, but my mountain (Baikalsk) that is in 120 km from Irkutsk, is full of snow! I think skiing season of Baikalsk will be closed in 2 weeks))) It is the best time 4 skiing. Sun shines brightly and u can ski without a jacket) The best snow of all the time! Why am i studing now? I want to ski !!!

Here in Finland, about 300 km up from the Baltic, the winter has come to an abrupt end, having not really made much of an appearance in the first place! The temperature is about 10-15'C, too warm and worse it oscillates almost weekly by about 10'C, so there's a constant freeze thaw cycle. Yuk. Last week we had 45cm of snow in a day but with temps too warm for it to be much use. It firmed up for about a day as temps dropped just slightly below freezing, but now the temps have rocketed up again to +10/11'C so it'sall turning to rivers and the lakes are treachourous to go on.

And I thought our mountain shut early - I'm looking forward to heading to the Alps for another fortnight after we shut.
