what is the name of a technique in stopping on snow skis? Any ideas with you guys hope you can help me Ive been to several forums but didnt get the answer hoping to get some here.

It depends on how you do it. If you point the tip towards each other it is called it is called plowing. Im not sure how it isa called if you slide sideways, I just call it stopping. So I hope I give you ideas.
