It would be interesting to meet other single seniors that have advice about skiing.

I live in Chicago and I didn't know you can ski in IL or WI????  Well that's not true, I heard you can ski, just not very long downhill....  Also I'm 50 as well and I don't even consider myself weathered.  Maybe if you spent some time on real mountains you would remember how young you really are.  God knows I don't get near enough days on the slops living in flatlands.

Lets all remember, the mountain is a great equalizer, old and young face the same challange when standing on the summit.  The only difference is how long we need to stay in the hot tub at the end of the day!!!!

By the way Linda, I forgot to mention how attractive you are and if you can ski as well you should have no trouble meeting some great guys on the slopes.  Their are a lot of single mature (better than older) men on the slops today because their wives didn't ski.  My belief is skiers should never date or marry non-skiers!!!  It broke up a lot of my relationships until I finally found a person who skis as hard as I do.

I married a non-skier 2 decades ago and life is good ! We dated for two years and she knew up front that playing in the fall-line was a big thing in my life. Tami understood that I had been schussing for 5 years before God had our paths cross. I'd love to share "playing with gravity" with her but she gave a valiant effort but had issues with the snow
plow...and never returned. She looks forward to ski season for a VACATION from me !?!

You are a lucky person to say the least.  I know of 3 couples that broke up over the years thanks to his or her love of skiing and before I met my current wife I broke up with at least 4 girlfriends that couldn't handle my weekends away during the winter.  For some unknown reason they always wanted to go someplace warm.  Go figure.....

FYI, my wife's first husband was a non-skier....  Notice I said first husband!

Not senior but weathered, nice one BrySki. I remember my brother being teased as old but he's still 46 years old, he said he's not old, he consider his self as one of the "young once"

Having a senior in this site is always an advantage because they can share a lot of tips from their experiences from different ski vacation trips. Nice to have you here.
