Kinco skigloves, huh?

At a whoopin' $15...?

Geez....

Do you actually get real skiiers to buy into this bullshit?

For those who want real skigloves, that are actually real, techical gloves, look ANYWHERE else than this Kinco-crap. Look for brands that actually KNOWS what they're doing when it comes to technical winter wear!

Those Kinco gloves are not ski gloves...they're some modified work gloves! Probably works like a charm when carrying heavy goods at a construction site...but on a mountain!?

Give me a break!

I mean, myself I ski wearing Hestra-gloves (and most skiiers knows what they stand for when it comes to quality)
They cost me a little over 100 bucks...yeah, not cheap, sure, but you get what you pay for! Mine are made with Gore Tex XCR, and they are waterproof, and keeps me dry and warm all day, even in deep powder.

There is a reason why technical sports gear actually cost a little! And that's where you wanna go.

Atleast if you're somewhat serious about your skiing. Otherwise, heck, put on a pair of jeans, and those great Kinco-gloves, and you're ready for the mountain...

(Of course you're not ready for any damn mountain!!!!!)

It actually pisses me off that some companies try to sell bullshit-equipment to people who might not know better.

But then again, I'm Norwegian, and we damn sure do know our winter gear here...winter and winter sports runs through our veins!

We God damned invented skiing!

I'm sorry you paid over $100.00 for ski gloves.  But we have sold these gloves to many ski patrols.  They where also listed in skiing magazine back in 2007 as one of the top 100 items every skier should have.  Again, I do apologize if this upsets you.

Please, I'm not trying to sell you carp.  Kinco Gloves I have found to be the best quality glove you can own and I was just trying to share that.

Really, don't be sorry...

Cause quality costs!

OK, fine, Kinco probably makes great work clothes.

But I'm a gear-head...I have NEVER heard Kinco-products mentioned in relation to any kind of sport.

So, that's why I used the word "crap". I didn't mean it literary, cause I'm sure Kinco is good at it's primary business; making work clothes/gear.

Companies like Marmot, The North Face, Arc'Teryx, and similar, they're good at making quality technical sportswear, and that's the reason why they're so well known around the world.

Trust me (and I'm not saying this out of arrogance) if your Kinco ski gloves was so damn good, we would have heard of them here in Norway (and in the rest of Europe) Ski guides, instructors, and of course skiiers would be using them.

Which ski magazine has been giving these gloves such raving reviews? Powder Magazine...?

If they have, fine, I'll take back everything I just said...

OK, I just gotta add that I probably sounded like a harsh, arrogant piece of *beep* in my two posts above, and that wasn't my intention.

I came off as alot more harsh than I actually meant to.

But, I really DO feel strongly about getting quality equipment in sports.

And, I am 110 % sure that the work-like gloves recommended in this thread, will not in a million years be able to hold its own against a real high-quality glove.

Talk to any competent person when it comes to sporting equipment, and they'll say the same...

That's the bottom line!

I had to step away so I couldn't respond back to you reight away.  The Kinco 901's Ski Glove where in skiing Magazine, December 2007.  And it is listed in the 82 Essential Every Skier Must Have.  That was the title and I'm looking right at the Magazine.  They where listed on page 110 and numbered 25 on the list.  The story is to long for me to write here but I think if you tried them out you wouldn't regreat it.  They say once water proofed they are the warmest most warm resistant glove you can buy.

Thats the stupidest thing I have ever read.

If I ever read that in a ski magazine I would write a pissed off letter to the editor and my opinion of that magazine would go to shit.

Nah, you're thinking of IKEA, Ian...

 he he

I was actually thinking more about Norwegians inventing the more modern kind of skiing (Sondre Nordheim from Telemark, for instance)
Nobody knows for sure where the first activities that could be called skiing took place. So it could be that the Swedes came first (although I hate that very thought! he he)
