Idre Fjäll
Last year, we carried out a great deal to improve the infrastructure at Idre Fjäll. A new six chair lift from the valley to the top, two new service centres, the Pernilla Wiberg Hotel, new children’s areas, and the Aske village to mention a few of our endeavours. This means brilliant conditions for the coming season. It takes however more than “heavy” investments to make our guests enjoy their stay. That’s why we are concentrating on “the software” this season. We’ll try to do all we can to make your skiing holiday a full experience for both the body and soul, with just the right amount of adventure and relaxation. Above all, we want you to feel welcome and well taken care of at Idre Fjäll. Our aim is to make you long for your next holiday at Idre Fjäll even before having left! To be able to continue to improve, it’s extra important for us that you tell us if there’s something you’re not totally satisfied with. Never hesitate to let us know, that’s what helps us improve even more.
Here, you have all the opportunities to get into shape, irrespective of sport or level.
A training camp at Idre Fjäll is an efficient and fun way to get into shape. How and what you wish to train is obviously up to you, but we're happy to help and give ideas. We have a network of top competence in most summer and winter sports, for example; alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, football, golf, orienteering and sailing, among other things. You needn't be a top level sportsman to benefit from the great training facilities. Companies concentrating on keep-fit measures can book a weekend or a week for the employees and mix it up with lectures and amusement.
We organise national camps for youths in co-operation with national association respectively. The Vasalopp camp gives everyone interested good advice on the preparations for the race and the best training to succeed in the ski track.
A resort more children-friendly than Idre is not easy to find.
At Idre Fjäll, most things are adapted to the little skier with legs filled of curiosity and desire to explore.
During all our years working with skiing, we’ve learned one very important thing – if the children are happy then so are their parents. That’s why we’ve put a lot of effort into making this establishment for the whole family. The fundamental conditions are excellent. Idre Fjäll is a compact and complete establishment collected around one fjäll (mountain). You’ll often find that a number of slopes end at the same place, making it easy to keep all family members under control. As it’s so easy to find your way around all the slopes and points of the compass, you can allow your children to explore on their own. The very small children have their own area with easy slopes and lifts. All the children’s areas and beginners slopes are near the accommodation, all to make it easier for you. This is our way to show that we care for the whole family!

We offer slopes in all directions, so you can always choose a sunny or sheltered run. And despite the size of our system of slopes, you never have to travel far. Variety is another string to our bow. There's a slope here to suit you, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, advanced skier or snowboarder. The whole family can ski here happily, even if the various members have very different requirements.

| Snowboarding | If you like testing your limits, the boarder cross slope is a hot tip. Plenty of jumps, tracks, and moguls for the skiers and snowboarders wanting to stretch the limits. You can also do the halfpipe or put the finishing touches to your jumping technique. On the eastern side, you can enjoy powder and Off piste (woods) in beautiful surroundings.
For you spending your life on a snowboard, there’s plenty to choose from. Every week, we arrange competitions, a great way to test your own capacity. If you need expert help to learn new tricks or if it’s your first time snowboarding, the Snowboard School is the perfect alternative.
