We offer guided ski touring/mountaineering holidays in the "compact and bijou" Picos de Europa, Northern Spain.

Your qualified Mountain Leader, Mike Stuart, knows the area like the proverbial back of his hand and can help you explore, on skis, snowshoes or snowboards, this enchanting region. Using alpine or telemark touring bindings, we ski and climb the dramatic, limestone peaks of the central and eastern massifs of the Picos and highest points of the Cordillera Cantabrica. With the optional aid of ice-axes and crampons we can reach summits with sea views!

The Picos de Europa, split into three massifs - central, eastern and western - straddle the three provinces of Cantabria, Leon and Asturias and remain unspoilt, leaving us free to experience the natural beauty of this unique part of Spain.

We usually run weeks from Saturday to Saturday to include 6 full days in the mountains but are flexible regarding guests' needs.

Additional	Our ski touring holidays include all accommodation, transport and use of specialist equipment.
Nearby Attractions	Our base is Casa Gustavo - a 500year-old converted farmhouse providing comfortable rooms and three-course evening meals. Optional rest day activities could include spectacular gorge walking, surfing or rock climbing - great south-facing, valley-based crags nearby.

Policies & Conditions

Our price for a weeks' all-inclusive, guided ski touring is £490. Deposits required. We suggest guests take out their own insurance, though rescue services are, at the moment, free.
