Winter activities include the world famous descent of the Vallee Blanche, departing from the Italian side of Mont Blanc, and finishing at the town of Chamonix in France - an unforgettable full day of off trail skiing through the Mer du Glace glacier. Also the heli ski base at Courmayeur offers powder descents of up to 2000m vertical, in the backdrop of the majestic Mont Blanc. Available from mid January until mid April. Winter activities also include Ice Climbing, with a wide range of ice falls to choose from oin the Aosta Valley, and ski touring through to the Spring, with tours from 1 to 8 days. For non skiers, snow shoe walking at Punta Helbronner, in the shadow of Mont Blanc is an experience not to be missed!
For the warmer Summer months a full range of activities are available; Mountaineering at all levels, from beginners courses to important ascents of Mont Blanc and many other 4000m peaks in the Mont Blanc chain and the Aosta Valley. Trekking, from the classic Tour of Mont Blanc to the beautiful Gran Paradiso National Park, childrens outdoor weeks also available. Rock climbing for all levels with qualified experienced instructors, courses available, plus trips from 1 to 6 days in and around the Mont Blanc area.
