Marc Floirat
Marc Floirat has been a qualified Ski Instructor since 1989. For 15 years, he served as an instructor for Ski Schools and has also been providing Private Instruction services in both Val D'Isere and Tignes.
Marc is French and speaks fluent English so there can be no problem with communication.
The Ski class should be big enough to make the experience worthwhile and small enough to make it personal. Marc provides lessons for all ski levels. Morning, afternoon, all day and all week classes are available. If you do not have much time, you can also take a per hour ski session.
The snow is waiting in Tignes and Val d'Isere. Everybody can enjoy an exceptional holiday in the high alpine resorts of Val d'Isere and Tignes. Both resorts are big and offers a great number of possibilities. You can ski one day on the glacier of the Val d'Isere from 3400 meters until the village of the Fornet at 1900 meters. You can also go to the glacier of Tignes from 3500 meters until Tignes Les Breviers at 1500 meters. The 300km of slopes provides a ground for skiers of all ski levels - from beginners to experts. Every spot in the resorts poses a new form of adventure and fun and there is still a lot to discover.

If you are a good skier, I also provide off-piste lessons, Val d'Isere and Tignes offers you the maximum possibilities for different off-piste routes with no major difficulties. For this, you will need: the transceiver, and the probe and shovel. The transceiver is an electronic unit that can both transmit and receive a signal. If you don't have this equipment, I can lend you one. But it will be better to rent the bag with the all material to ski in all security. I will teach you how to use the transceiver in the lesson and after following the guide! I also give off-piste initiation for the other skier (not as good) in the same conditions. |

Val d'Isere and Tigness offers insurance for an additional cost when you buy a ski pass. When you purchase a ski pass for 7 days, the price will be 213.5 Euro without the insurance. WIth the insurance, it will be 230 Euro.
FOR SENIORS (60-74 years old): The ski pass for 7 days without insurance will cost 181.50 Euro, with the insurance it will be 195.50 Euro.

FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS OLD: Free use of lift system upon presentation of any form of identification.
FOR BEGINNERS: There are 4 lifts available for free where you can go and practice skiing.
When we ski all day and you want to stop to have lunch, I can book a reservation from the restaurant in the morning but the price is not included in the package.
For the equipment, like ski boots, I can help and assist you in finding the right one for your skill level. |

During the week, if you ski with me, we can also visit the Le Rosiere resort. Le Rosiere is only half an hour away from Val d'Isere by taxi. This resort connects to the La Thuille, one of Italy's finest resorts. There, we can go for a cruise and have a nice Italian lunch like pasta with truffes and have a taste of their other specialties. The ski pass will cost 24.00 Euro per person.
When the weather is cloudy and windy in Val d'Isere, we can also go to ST Foy. It is a small ski resort, half an hour away from Val d'Isere by taxi where visibility is always better because of the trees. |
