Iwappara was the first of the larger resorts to open in Yuzawa Town, and is still one of the more popular resorts in the area. It's wide open main slope is popular with both beginners and people wanting to practice their skiing and snowboarding techniques. Journey towards the top of the resort for magnificent views of the valley and Tanigawa-dake.
