Niseko Base lodge is a stylish, well appointed, yet affordable lodge.
Niseko Base Lodge is a new Australian/Kiwi owned Lodge in the heart of Hirafu village being two minutes walk from the only convenience store in town and 5 minutes walk to the closest lift.
The two live-in staff and manager of the lodge are serious boarders and have invaluable local knowledge to assist you from recommending restaurants, making reservations to (heaven forbid) taking you down to the local hospital after a nasty fall.
Base is a shared bathroom/kitchen type accommodation with breakfast included in all it's rates. It is a very social, relaxed lodge having a large living room with several couches centered around a beautiful wood stove. There is also a separate SatelliteTV/internet/video game room.
Our guest rooms are arguably the most stylish and best appointed rooms in the pension class in Niseko. Each having it's own LCD TV, DVD player, good storage space, remote control lights, contemporary colors, local artwork and western style beds.
Most guests responses while staying at the Base are " I feel right at home here". We believe this is due to our easy going (but professional) friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere that the lodge creates.

Our staff do daily trips to nearby Kutchan where guests can withdraw cash, shop for souvenirs and stock-up on supplies at the local supermarket.
Base Lodge offers free group Japanese lessons twice a week at the Base lounge area.
We also offer ski/board tours to other ski resorts.
We can arrange transfers to and from the airport/ Sapporo and offer discount lift tickets. |
