Manza Onsen is a lofty-peak resort located 1,800 meters avoe sea level on the slopes of Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The onsen is particularly beneficial to the health thanks to the high ozone content of the clear mountain air and the heavy mineral concentratiohn of the onsen water (high levels of htdrogen sulfice). Not only this, but winter also turns Manza into a perfect ski resort.
